Dear sirs,
just one question:
given two points whose spherical coordinates are:
A (Long1, Lat1, Alt1) and B (Long2, Lat2, Alt2)
Do you know the formula to konw the distance AB?
Thanks in advance,
Lupin

Hi
this may help
http://www.math.montana.edu/frankw/c...ates/learn.htm
If this doesn't help search for converting the sphere map dimensions into flat map dimensions and after that use the normal geometry after transformations
D=√((Long1-Long2)2+(Lat1-Lat2)2+(Alt1-Alt2)2)

Added after 7 minutes:
the previous suggestion is valid if you mean converting distance over the earth
but If you mean real spherical co-ordinates so it's not long, lat & alt
they are r ,θ &Φ
and you can check the next link
