hello
This question might sound a bit strange, but it seems that what ADS is giving me is a bit better than I expect (A Q factor of 40 instead of 5) . I have tried HSpice and the results are worse. What could be the reason?

the quality factor of a filter or spiral inductor ?
and r u sure the models are the same ?
khouly
Hey
It is the spiral inductor. The models are not the same file, one is BSIM and the other is a model that I had before and I was using and it was giving me reasonable results. But BSIM is strange.
Cheers
wow
r u sure about the model translation , u need to check it well coz somtimes ADS model converter ignore some paramters so be aware ,
the most important thing is that u have a good valid models
khouly
I agree. It is the model.
I have no way to realize which one is more accurate.
