What is a "blind mate" coaxial adapter?

A blind mate connector is one that is installed on a module and connects "automatically" when the module is installed. They usually have some type of push on connection mechanism.

but this seems not to be what i meant.

In fact, I can push the coaxial cable into the BMA connector in front of me.
This is a difference to the more common screwable connectors, but I think it is not the point.
