What is the difference between resonators and band pass filter?

what is the difference between resonators and band pass filter? im quite confused with difference between both of them as both have the same response. Appreciate if anyone could clearify.

Well the difference between them is the Bandwidth, a resonator is narrow band filter while the band pass filter has a larger band. A resonator is let say the opposite of a notch filter, where in the notch filter u want to stop a single frequency in the resonator you want to pass a single frequency, in the band pass you want to pass a whole band of frequencies.

Well, A bandpass filter is made one or more resonaters connected by some means of coupling.
