Hello All,
I am actually designing a system that receives signal of 1420MHz. I don't want to down convertion of that signal. Is it possible to do that without down convertion? Is ADC can be operatable at that frequency?
Any other suggestion to do that?

That is some serious high frequency, National Semiconductors comes to mind. They carry a 3GHz ADC (probably interleaved) but it costs some S700+ in volume.
You can simply use a I/Q demodulator which costs around S5 and use a dual channel ADC at baseband sampling rates.
Check out Inphi, they have 13GHz-bandwidth sample and hold, that you could use.
