What is the Future for RFIC/MMIC Design in Silicon?

A lot of papers recently about mmwave and mwave CMOS and Bipolar Circuits above 20GHz... should we all start learning microwave theory and get on this ?

as the frequency increase u must use microwave concepts in ur designs

i saw the project of ee142 from berkly "design of LNB 12 GHz recevier using 65n CMOS" in the project they used a trasmission lines"
