Why inductance raises as frequency changes ?
the frequency range is from 1GHz to 2GHz.
the simulation shows that the inductance increases.
why?
I think the inductance should be independent of the frequency.
normally the inductance of on chip sprial inductor increase as the frequqncy increase , till the effect of SRF begin to apper , then the inductance decrease ,
i don'thave a solid explanation y it increase , but i think as the frequqncy increase the interaction between the spiral turns increase and hence the inducatnce

Assume a parallel LC circuit (L is the spiral inductance, C is the parasitic capacitance).
As nearing the resonant frequency the effective reactive impedance increases (at resonance it becomes infinity).
This increased reactive impedance can be interpreted most simply as an increasing inductance (higher inductive impedance) .
real inductance is never frequency independent, even a bond wire inductance shows frequency depencies (but most of the cases you can neglect it)
Distributive inductance and capcitance do vary with freqency. 2 plates capacitor have frequency-dependent characteristic. Correct me if I m wrong
