Question: How to determine LO amplitude for Mixer

Question: To do mixer design, how to determine LO amplitude? What characteristics will be affected by the LO amplitude?

LO amplitude is important for mixer performance.
For optimum LO drive level try to plot: Conversion Gain/Loss vs LO_level, NF vs LO_level, Power_IF vs Power_RF vs LO_level, IP3 and IP2 vs LO_level.
