Printed or planar log periodic antenna (Planar LPDA)

hi Guys!

i wish to built a planar LPDA beetwin 600MHZ to 3GHZ and i would like to know is everybody have some formulae about how to make it.


I try to use paper about usual LPDA but it doesn't work well.

You're refering to a log-periodic toothed antenna? Almost any antenna book will give you good reference. If I'm not mistaken, a tooth needs to be a approx. lambda/4 long for a specific frequency of operation. Simulation will give you good approximation for a real thing. Btw, what laminate (if any) are you going to use?

it seem on this paper it's that i want but what i need to know it's how to compute the spacing beetween the dipoles, what is the with of the feeders etc.
