Help me with RF generation circuit with a keypad and LCD interface
I want to design a circuit which generates a frequency from 1Hz to 20MHz.
amplitude should be 5V p-p.
Moreover the device should have a keypad and LCD interface.
The frequency set by keypad should be outputted by the circuit.
I tried a lot of options using various ICs like AD9833 and other AD ICs. But the current requirement is not sufficient. So please suggest me some thing
"Generate a frequency from 1Hz to 20MHz" is somewhat vague. Intended waveform and frequency resolution/accuracy are
two points completely missing in your specification. AD9833 DDS generator would be surely good for a programmable signal generator,
if it's actually needed depends on your requirements. A microcontroller has to supplement the design to perform the control.
What do you exactly mean? You don't know about the design requirements
and want others to suggest it?
Resolution->1Hz.
the datasheet of AD9833 shows
VOUT Max 0.65 V
we want signal upto 5V.
So amplification of high frequeny signal would be a problem.
What do you expect, a single chip solution for your project? Simply consider an amplifier. Or buy a ready-made RF generator.
put one op-amp for 5V level only but not for power.
