yes you could, but for the size of the WG you are dealing with for your experiment ya gonna need a heck of a lot of PCB and its going to be very very expensive

out of curiosity.... is there a particular reason for 150MHz ?
it just seems you are making things very difficult for yourself
it would all be easier to manage if you were up the spectrum at least 1000MHz
even at our amateur 23cm, 1296MHz band a WG would still be reasonably large, only at 2.4 GHz does it really starts to become managable

Yes, there is a reason for 150 MHz (maybe 200 MHz) - it has to be frequency at which rectification with reasonably high efficiency is possible. Are you aware of diodes that work well at these frequencies? I found Motorola's MBD301, 30V, 100mA, 100 ps reverse recovery. I would like something comparably fast, but capable of rectification of higher powers.
