Help with axial ratio calculation in HFSS
gain plots.rar
i am unable to open your gain plot......but sending u this link check this out and you would be able to find the solution of your problem....and tell me if u r stucking..http://www.eie.fceia.unr.edu.ar/ftp/...tion-14B32.pdf
The file whose link you have mentioned does not open up and
"The requested URL /ftp/.../Antenna-Polarization-14B32.pdf was not found on this server." message is displayed.
The gain plots in the uploaded folder are reattached here in form of images.Plz Help

Hi dlock,
You can get Axial ratio in HFSS by using these steps
1) Right click on Result -> Create Far Fields Report -> Rectangular Plot
2) In Report:new traces window select Axial Ratio (Availabel in 'Category'), select function such as db,mag, or ang_rad
3) In Primary sweep select Phi, and then select the angle such as 0,90 degree. (refer Screen shot)

Hope this helps you...
dlock i hope u have got d answer for ur problem....
Thank you for helping me out.
