HI all,
I am thinking of replacing a resistor by transmission line in a doubler circuit. But should I use TL based resistor or prefer lumped one?
If TL based resistor what precautions should I take in realizing it on the substrate?
Thanks in advance.

I don't see, how a transmission line could replace a resistor, because it's basically reactive. You should post a circuit to clarify the purpose of the resistor.
I have replace the resistor by a TL and getting similar results but not sure it might have some performance deterioration in any form? I can not use resistor cause it is too big.
Is then oky to use the TL?

The reason of the resistor is to limit the DC current through the diode. You cannot replace it with a metal TL (with DC resistance almost 0 ohms).
