probe fed design in AWR (microwave office)
I want to design a new rectangular probe fed patch antenna(i want put the only port from bottom to the patch) in AWR.
i designed this in CST studio ,but i have no idea about probe fed in AWR.
please ,can any one help regarding the circuit design in AWR

In AWR which EM Simulator you are using is it EMSight or Axiem?
Also where is the probe feed location? (x0, y0)
If you are using EMSight you simply Draw the Structure, draw the Via Port (probe) & then setup the dielectric layer properties
Finally add Antenna measurements & simulate...

i am new to microwave office, i am trying to make a simulation for a patch antenna, i drew 2 conducting rectangular plates separated by a dielectric, one is bigger than the other, the big one suppose to be th ground. and i drew a third small rectangular and set to be via the two layers, this should be the probe, and i checked the 3d diagram , it looks fine and every thing is set correctly, the problem is i cant add Via Port, its always disabled , i was trying everything to get the icon lights, but nothing comes up, it drives me crazy,
please any help appreciated,

Hello alabbass,
To enable Via Port option just go to Layout Manager (Browser) then check "Via" option then it will auto,atically enable the Via Port icon...
