i want to match Z-source and Z-load impedance at 2GHz which are present in the attached file, using ADS Smith chart utility. I am confused about the behavior of this utility.
At 2 GHZ Z_load is 19.4+j*39.9 ohm. It is provided in the source and load termination window as shown in the figure. Smith cart utility automatically conjugated this value upon enabling source and load terminations. I think, i should use 19.4-j*39.9 ohm which is the transistor output impedance for proper matching. And the same is true for the transistor input side.
