doubt in rf receiver connections

hi

I have a rf receiver and have to connect it to a ht12d ic. Is it necessary to connect both the Vcc pins to 5V or is it enough to connect only one to 5V?

not knowing what your receiver is its pretty impossible to answer you Q
do some googling there are many many examples of receiver and ht12d interconnection systems and receiver types

when you put ht12d into google, just down the page are some images, the first of which shows the standard receiver to use with a ht12d and how to interconnect them
