Differential Filter Technique

i want to design a low pass filter with Differential Filter Technique. I there any easy paper available?

Diagrams on the internet have this appearing as a differential signal, then you add a capacitor or two between signal-carrying wires. Add resistors at needed positions to create the correct RC filter effect.

Maybe it's that simple? You don't say whether you're using an op amp, or instrumentation op amp, etc.

Sorry i forgot to mention that it is a micro-strip rf/microwave filter.
