learning rf power switch

Hi there,
I'm new into this but i wanted to try and find out how i would go about designing a circuit(s) for a " learning rf system" eg. A multi channel system were multiple rx units can be "programmed at will" to a single switch on a multi switch the tx unit please bare in mind that i have high school level electronics knowledge from prob about 13 yrs ago so any suggested reading would be appreciated

I fear, it's rather unclear what you mean with a "rf power switch".

something to remotely operate a realay

O.K., people call it remote switch or wireless switch.

The multi channel feature is simply about assigning unique control codes to each device, generating them in the transmitter and decoding it.

There are many retail products of this kind, also many DIY projects on the internet. Do you have specific questions?



Presume the switch devices are receivers only, so "learning" can only work by telling the receiver to listen to a specific channel command. The receiver needs a means (e.g. a key) to enable the learning process, also a non-volatile memory to store the setting.
