Hello everyone
I'm working on a 3d fd-td code in which i have implemented the Sullivan unsplit PML.
How do i model a discrete volatge source?
The coefficients describing this type of source are easy to define in an H-field/e-field code, but my pml demands
h-field/electric flux density-e-field code.
Any ideas or code?

My friend if you have the working PML code in 3D please could you upload it i have also tried from the book of Sullivan (program on page 94) but it does not absorb the waves exactly and then become stable please could you help me, do you have any ides why isn't it working finely.
Also do you undersatand in PML we need to make the E = 0 at the edges does this mean corners or the 12 lines of the cubes.
Sorry I don't understand from your problem but i hope you can give me some idead
i need also to simulate in 3d FDTD an optical fiber in multi-mode case so how can i find the update equations for multimode optical fiber in FDTD
please help me
