CPU question with HFSS

Hi,

I've been running a simulation on HFSS and its been going for over a day now, still doing adaptive passes. I checked the Task Manager, and it says the CPU usage is under 10%.

I have set the options in HFSS to use all 4 processors and all the RAM + pagefile available (60gb).

Is there some settings I should change?

RAM is a significant factor. Also what is the problem size (tets). They go together. 32 bit vs. 64 bit OS plays into the mix as well.

Can't hazard a guess about how your runs are going without more information.

I'm using Windows XP 64-bit, and the problem size is around 450,000 tets.

The computer has 12GB physical RAM, plus a 40GB pagefile.
