Hi! I was wondering how one can create a metal material in XFDTD, other than PEC. The "Add Material" Option allows you to create a material by choosing its conductivity and relative permittivity value. But as far as I know, the relative permittivity of a metal (eg titanium), is infinite.. So how can I define such a material? Thanks!
I think there is a little debate regarding permittivity and conductors. In any regard, only PEC would actually be represented with an infinite permittivity.
Generally, you don't specify permittivity for metals in any of the solvers (i.e. leave the relative permittivity as 1)
