coupling matrix extraction using matlab

i'm an undergraduate student. i need Matlab code to extract the coupling matrix using Gram-Schmidt procedure. and also if anybody have the mathematical process of extraction of coupling matrix and Gram-Schmidt procedure, can u please send it to me?
