Hi,
I would like to simulate a coplanar waveguide combined with SRRs, similar to the
structures in the paper "Split ring resonator-based left-handed coplanar waveguide" [Applied Physics Letters, Vol. 83, p. 4652 (2003)]. In that paper, the
authors used CST to simulate their structures. Is it possible to use Sonnet for the
simulation? Can Sonnet deal with 2 layers of metals?
Thanks.

Hello,
Yes of course you can simulate & analyze SRR & CPW structures using Sonnet
& you can simulate any number of dielectric/Metal layers in Sonnet em professional version...See
http://www.sonnetsoftware.com/produc...onnetapps.html
Even Sonnet Lite Free Version also supports what you wanted to simulate, see...
