Does anybody know how to do a GTEM field strength measurement (V/m) when the ETSI standard suggests a methode using a substitution antenna and SG to read an amplitude in dBm?
Substitution antenna is a standard method in ETSI standards to calibrate radiated power measurements. The radiated power measurement according to ETSI is usually a free field measurement (e.g. in an anechoic chamber). You have to check, if an GTEM measurement can comply with the requirements. I presume, if the margin of your measurements to limit values is large enough, it might work.
Thanks, I now realize that the ETSI and Cenelec measurements are different, ETSI preferably in a open field site and Cenelec in a GTEM cell.
