How to combine E theta and E phi to get E field

I got amplitude and phase for E_theta and E_phi, but how to combine them to get E field (Amplitude and Phase)?

I know that E(θ,Φ) = Eθ + EΦ = iθ* (Aθ* exp(i*Pθ)) + iΦ* (AΦ* exp(i*PΦ)) = i(θ,Φ) * ( A(θ,Φ)* exp(i*P(θ,Φ)) )

(iθ,iΦ,i(θ,Φ) is unit vector)

but they are vectors, so confused...
