lumped port in hfss
in ADS ports are denoted with arrows and have one default common ground; but in hfss, each lumped port has its start and end of impedance line, so where is the common ground? the lumped port in hfss is not defined as usual port in microwave network theory? need your help...

I am also interested in the concrete implementation of lumped (HFSS) or
discrete (CST) ports.
Would be great if someone posts more details about it.
Anyway, in CST or maybe also in ADS momentum you only specify the voltage path and the user defined reference impedance of your excitation.

In HFSS, the lumped port has a port face equal to that of the waveguide port.
For waveguide ports (any tool HFSS, CST, EMPIRE)
a 2D Frequency domain Eigenmode analysis in preprocessing enables the tool to
solve Maxwells equation for E(x,y), H(x,y). After normalizing to 1 W time averaged power, the excitation field is known.
LUMPED PORTS in HFSS do also have an port face equal to that of waveguide ports. May be there is also a preprocessing step to solve E(x,y), H(x,y).
But it will use the user defined reference impedance for ..??..
In application, the main difference is:
LUMPED: interior use but no deembedding
WAVEGUIDE: dembedding, but a constant feeding port face is needed
