JOB TITLE:  Corporate Applications Engineer (CAE)

Job Description
The primary focus of the CAE is to support the deployment and adoption of Synopsys FPGA-based hardware platforms. The CAE will help customers deploy the HAPS Solution,
Including HW, Transactors, Prototyping SW, Partitioning, Synthesis, P&R, and Debug SW. The CAE will also participate in pre-sales activity, including technical presentations
and evaluations, and will work with the local AC teams to help grow HAPS business.
The CAE will work with customers and create a smooth path for the customer to deploy HAPS. This includes providing product training, presenting technical updates and solutions, and
resolving technical issues seen by the customer. The CAE will also work closely with the R&D and Product CAE teams to find solutions and resolutions for technical issues seen in the field, and will help
drive improvements in product capabilities and quality.
Requirements
Expert level engineers with a minimum of 5Y of proficiency in SoC prototyping/emulation/FPGA Implementation methodologies and technologies, who have demonstrated experience in the complete design
validation cycle, driven to help customers achieve their SW validation goals.
Requires good communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical information effectively and work closely with end users.
Deep knowledge of RTL synthesis, FPGA implementation, HW bring-up, scripting language, Unix/Linux development environment.
Deep Knowledge of implementing High Speed interface IP with the GTH and GTY transceivers.
Knowledge of key protocols “PCIe, USB, Ethernet, MIPI, AMBA, UART, DDR, flash memories”, processor architecture and their usage in SoC environments is plus.
Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills with direct experience in building SoC/IP prototypes, working with SW team is essential.
