Location: ChengDu
Responsibilities:
-interface with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Design Engineering with a focus on customer application support in great China area;
-Support customer applications by designing, building and testing custom demonstration and reference design circuits to meet customer specifications to support the sales of IDT’s wireless charging products;
-Create customer demo boards to develop new business in different markets;
-Perform schematics, layout reviews for new customer design wins, and on-site trouble shooting to meet customers’ development schedule;
-Write product datasheets with applications section, applications notes, design articles and demo board manuals with all text, graphs and diagrams;
-Provide feedbacks for new product ideas to help developing new products, or new derivatives of existing products;
Requirements:
-MSEE with 5+ years experiences in power management applications in the area of board level DC-DC and AC-DC applications, such Buck converter, Boost converter, Flyback converter, Half bridge converter, etc.;
-Good understanding of power electronics topology, control theory, and magnetic component designs;
Customer supporting experiences in both consumer and/or industry markets are required;
-Strong lab test and measurement skills required to characterize new products and design application circuit solutions;
-Good experiences of directing PCB layout of high frequency DC-DC or AC-DC regulators or power management ICs;
-Experience with serial communication protocols, such as I2C, is required;
-Strong communications skills and open to travel as necessary;
-Experience using LabView to perform bench characterization and road test automation;
