Job Description Candidate will be responsible for creating innovative solutions for the fast paced and high volume cellular market. Candidate will participate in all phase of the development, including product definition, architecture, system, transistor-level circuit design, layout/layout supervision, top level simulations, silicon debug and production test support. Hands-on transistor level design as well as silicon debug and lab evaluation is required. Successful candidate will work closely with system/RF engineers to understand RF system challenges and devise innovative architecture and circuit solutions. Experience in RF SOI switches or Power amplifier products a plus.
Job Requirements - Strong desire and commitment to take product from concept to volume production.
- Ability to analyze system specifics, perform architecture trade-off analysis, and translate system spec into circuit block specs.
- Hands-on experience in Si or SOI CMOS analog/RFIC circuits such as bandgap, opamps, control loops, rectifiers, linear and switching regulators, PA and RF switches.
- Solid understanding of basic analog/RF circuit requirements including noise, linearity, bandwidth and loop stability, both small signal and large signal. Hands-on experience with both time and frequency domain circuit simulation using SpectreRF/GoldenGate/ADS.
- Solid understanding of basic RF concepts such as impedance matching, RF filtering, passive RLC and resonant circuits.
- Solid understanding of Si device and CMOS process technologies.
- Use of CAD tools from top level simulations to parasitic extraction.
- Experience in silicon debug and good problem solving skills in the lab.
- Layout experience and good layout practice, both high frequency and high precision
- A self-starter and team player with strong desire to continue to learn on the job.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate and work well with local as well as global teams.
- MSEE/Ph.D. with 3+ years or Bachelors with 8+ years of experience in analog/RFIC/RF design

Job Description:
o Typical RF measurements include but not limited to: GSM/EDGE/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/TDD and FDD LTE cellular PA power controls, Power-vs.-time, switching transient, multi-slots, Load pull and source pull, stability, noise, and S-parameters.
o Support design and test engineers’ request to automate device test and characterizations. Create, debug and validate test automation script.
o Automate RF testing using C++/C, Labview or similar scripting languages.
o Streamline data processing and plots generation.
o Gain understanding of power amplifier product specifications and can generate script to verify spec compliance using Skyworks’ proprietary program.
Job Requirements:
o BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years of experience measuring, tuning, optimizing RF and/or analog/mixed-signal IC’s.
o A strong understanding of RF fundamentals, PA fundamentals, GSM/EDGE/WCDMA/LTE system, industry standard test methods, test equipment operation, capabilities, limitations, trouble-shooting, and automation is critical for success.
o Strong expertise in using RF instruments including signal generators, PSA, VNA, oscilloscope, power meters and load pull tuners. Experience in test routine software development using C++/C, Labview or similar scripting language is a strongly plus.
o Strong attention to detail, meticulous documentation standards, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work within a diverse team-structured
