Job Responsibilities:
• Develop Power Management related diagnostics test cases to verify powe
r features in pre-silicon environment (FPGA, C-Model, Palladium) and post-sili
con system (real ASIC and platform)
• Participate in APU/GPU silicon bring up
• Identify and help to resolve ASIC, board and firmware issues, provide
diagnostics support to external customers and internal engineering teams
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Responsible for execution of programs, multiple projects on the go
• Forward thinker to improve development process and drive innovation
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years' experience on driver or embedded SW development and clo
sely interact with HW designers (8+ years as a bachelor, 5+ years as a master)
• Strong mix of large-scale software development ability and hardware un
derstanding
• Proficient in C++ programming on medium to large code repository
• Familiar with X86 architecture and related Bus/technologies, i.e. ACPI
, PMIC, Clocks, Regulator, etc.
• Familiar with Linux, knowledge and experience of device driver or firm
ware development is required
• Familiar with Windows internals, knowledge and experience of driver/ke
rnel is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with any one of board bring up, power management,
PCI-E, and DDR/GDDR memories is preferred.
• Strong debugging and testing skills
• Strong communication skills
