Rocketio can't be used when 8b/10b is bypassed.

Rocketio can work well when 8b/10b is used.
However, when 8b/10b is bypassed,even the example design(added in the IP core)can't work.In simulation, the output data is not the input data.And the 'track data '  signal is low at all time.
Can you help me?

Have you found the reason yet? my take is that if you bypass 8b/10b, you might not get enough transition density for CDR to work well (resulting too much jitter).
