Help！ VCS and NC-SIM

Anyone knows what is the command line for VCS and/or NC-SIM that does the same thing as the following one in Modelsim?
vsim -c -do "run 1000;quit" work.top
basically, I just want my testbench to run for only 1000 time units, and I want to run it in script mode of VCS and NC-SIM. (not in GUI)
Any suggestion helps. Thanks.

Just finished reading the User Guide of VCS.
here is how to make it work with two line
vcs *.v
./simv +vcs+stop+1000 or ./simv +vcs+finish+1000

I finally found out how it works in nc-sim now.
here is it
ncsim worklib.top:v -input "@run 1000;exit"

Hey, how can u use Synopsys VCS? Crack it? I installed VCS7.0.1 successfully, but it says invalid license in the terminal when I compile my Verilog file. U know what, the license I used was generated by EFA LicGen0.4b, and it is working at Design Compiler 200809.....strange！
