FPGA设计和IC前端的区别？

很简单,fpga是在已经做成的芯片上搭建电路,而asic是要自己根据电路制作芯片.
fpga不需要考虑后端的工作,而asic后端和前端一样重要.好的实现方案,最终需要通过后端来实现.

ic front end is typically for ASIC... in charge of synthesis, timing closure, dft etc. back end handle further insertion, place route etc. and then give to TSMC etc for manufacture...
FPGA doesn't need backedn, since it's manufactured already,, only need to program the logics inside.
