fast frequency hopping

I am desinging a singal generator by ad9858. I want to implement the function of fast frequency hopping. Who can help me find some useful information ? or give me some helpful design articals and advice.Thanks!

If you want to implement fast frequency hopping. A fast frequency switching synthesizer is needed. You can increase PLL loop filter bandwidth to increase the swtiching speed of PLL. However, wider bandwidth introduce more noise go into the PLL. You can choose PLL which has fast charge pump to increase the PLL switching speed.
