Hello, everybody,
Actually, I'm working on project, where we want to use a radio communication. The problem is, that device will be certified as ATEX for using in Zone 0 (the most difficult certification).
The problem is, that antenna cover must be in anti-static material. It means, the the omic resistance of antenna cover must be less then 10 GOm. For device body we use a plastic, charged in carbon.
I looked for antennas with similar proprieties, but I didn't find. May be anybody knows something on this problem?
If Antenna Cover will be in a material with omic resistance 10 GOm, how it will inflluence on antenna performance?

This high (compared to free space of 377 ohms) resistance will not cause problems. It is the dielectric constant of the plastic that will have the greatest effect. If the thickness is much smaller than a wavelength no problems will result.
