Hello fellows,
I am trying to set up my CC2420DK boards in order to connect in one of them a function generator and in the other one an Oscilloscope; the reason is because I want to transmit a signal from one point to the other one using these boards.
My main objective is to transmit a pulse (defined by an user) from one board to the other one, and first I am trying just to send a simple sine from one point to the other in order to know how these boards work.
So, do you have any idea in order to know how to set up the RF Studio (software) parameters to get a pulse at the second board?
I will appreciate all you help.
Thanks
Luis Felipe

Erm, the 2420 transmits data according to 802.15.4...
I am not clear about your question. Do you mean you connect sine signal into ADC channel of CPU on board (if any). Then, you write anything to let CPU read analog signal, convert, and send it through RF? But it is still not work?
Hello,
I do not think it is possible to send a simple pulse or a sine using these boards, because the chip (CC2420) can only transmit acoording to the modulation format and shaping defined by IEEE 802.15.4 standard.
Why not transmit a random sequence using the on chip modulator? :)
All the best
