cellphone antenna

I want to know, what kind of antenna is used for a cellphone. I want to know all their characteristics

there are some good book about antena at the up/download section
read the book first

there are different type antenna in cell phone. two categories here:
1. external antenna
2. Internal Antenna

1.1 External Antenna, we will have helix, Mendre line antenna, monopole (AMPS phone)

2.1 Internal Antenna, we will have Patch metal stamping antenna, FLexible printed antenna

usually horn antennas,slot antennas are used at tower whereas in mobile handsets dipole antennas are prefered. However it varies from desgin to design.
