What does the range of transmitter depend on?
If I want to build a long range transmitter what should I be looking for?
Thanks
alot .
first the rx (n.f. and sensetivty)
the vswr of the ant.
your freq.
the high of the ant.( at low freq)
ex' ex'
Depends on many factors:
- Frequency used
- Antenna height (specially in vhf and up)
- transmitter power @ antenna
- antenna gain
just to say few...
Remember you have to take in account also receiver performances.
Take a look at friis formula.
Hope this help,
ciao
Thanks a lot.
Is there any circuit available for building a long-range transmitter?
to use very long range transmiter u should work at freq 2-30 mHz.
use it at night
use as more power as u can.
use an anttena with high gain (u gona pay with diraction)
look for ham radio ciruits.
for ex. 600 watt with 4 elenent dipole, can make a transmith from usa to middle est ( if the Rx station have 6dB gain , and normal sensetive)
good luck
