Baseband strip
Would someone tell me what "baseband strip" means?
Thank you.
I want to work at the RF field in future...
I read some advertisment, IC spec, etc. They mentioned many times of the word "Baseband". It seems the most important parts in mobile phone. But I even don't know what "Baseband" is!
Do here anybody kind to advise me? Thanks
baseband can mean a lot of things, but in general it implies raw voice (like the voltage coming out of a microphone), or data 1's and 0's (possibly with some digital math, like error correction added). This baseband signal is then sent to an RF device called a modulator that imparts the information onto a much higher frequency carrier.
At the other end a receiver amplifies the weak signal, lowers the carrier frequency, and "demodulates" the information, outputing a slightly degraded copy of the original baseband information.
