Help me establish dimensions of a microstrip inductor

kindly help with dimensions for a microstrip inductor i intend using for a doppler radar alarm. frequency of operation is 1GHZ. and construction details as pupblished in practical electronics magazine of october 1984. or similar ideas will be appreciated thanks. kamla

There are a lot of RF simulators that can do this job: MWOffice, ADS, Eagleware, Ansoft, etc. But they are a lot of money.
I would recommend for this application Ansoft Designer SV that is free:
