systron donner 762
- Std persistence display Unit mod. 712-1;
- Microwave tuning unit 809-1
- Marker/signal source unit ( no P/N )
On the mainframe ( Yellow case painted ) is this label:
MODEL 762-1
Info as frequency range, sensitivity, span min/max, RBW, let's say all the info you have.
I have already made a search on internet but few results.
Also if someone has a quotation for the machine is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Me and a friend of mine made a bet abot who will have as more as possible info by the beginning of next week about an instrument strange and unusual.
For this reason we moved to the shop of a third friend and we asked him to show us an instrument we never seen before.
The guy show us a S.A. from systron donner and gave us the info written in the first message.
After tomorrow we will meet again and the person that will have more informations will win the bet. ( of course not the S.A. )
Thanks for your help.

Mandi,
have been out of town so this might come late....
I did a quick "google" and came up with this:
Systron Donner 762-1 Spectrum analyzer. Goes up to 40GHz direct. Has
809 plug in and 712-1 (standard) display. It has an additional unit built
in across the top of the analyzer which is a "Marker/Signal Source Unit".
It has 5 and 50mhz markers, markers at 1.03ghz and a sweep oscillator for 2.6-3.0 and .9-1.4Ghz to do swept measurements with the analyzer
The picture shows 712 with 809-2 plug
NB Info is NOT verified....

I did the same with the same results; what I need is more info.
In any case, thank you very much for the picture, I didn't find any.
If you have more info I will win the bet.
I have seen the instrument only from the back, but it looks the same, the case color is tghe same, the one I have seen looks little bit higher.
Any forther info is very appreciated.
P.S. I know the comments about the bet, but in this case is a matter of honour.

hi
i have practical in the microwave measurments & design. and i am unknown to all devices.
we have practicals just like 1.impedence measurments , 2.tuning with slide srew tuner, double stub tuner ,magic tee 3.power measurments 4.spectrum ananlyser.
i dont know the theory behind these things . is there any book or any material ?for microwave measurments.
Your question is somewhat unclear. Are you searching for information about instruments, or devices?
