Dear all :
i am a newbie to learn ie3d . when i want to built some antenna models, it needs some boolean operation such as :unite ,insert ,subtract etc
anyone can tell how to do them . and i hope in some details ,(what step i should take )
and i have two questions。
question one : does in ie3d , if we want to unite A and B : we can choose
adv edit --->cut overlapped polygons?
quesion two: where can i down some more references except the ie3d manual offered by the Zeland website ?
Thank you all

Hi, Woshifanka: There are a few boolean operation commands in IE3D/MGRID. In the ADV EDIT, you can find:
ADV EDIT->BUILD HOLES FROM SELECTED POLYGONS which allows you to select some shapes and use them to build holes (and refill them) on other shapes.
ADV EDIT->ADVANCED BOOLEAN OPERATIONS has at least 4 different boolean operaitons. You can do what you want.
ADV EDIT->ALIGN POLYGON DIVISION AND MESHING allows you to select polygons on multiple layers and align their division lines. The resulting polygons can be any combinations of boolean operations.

Dear Jian :
