Antenna Design - Help

I am designing a tear drop antenna for 120 - 300 Mhz. I could not find any journal papers or design specs for tear drop antenna.

Could anyone help me on this ?

I havent gone into the details of this. But as far as I know it is used for very high bandwidth and it is supposed to give a stable gain over the bandwidth.
I came across a design for 1 - 12 GHz . I am trying to scale it for my frequency range.

I also like uwb antennas .. especially planar.. can you suggest what pdf file can I read to design them? Can we share our know- how in this fruitful discussion?

I have always been designing microstrip antennas so now I want to enter the wideband world!
