Does anybody here knows how to define the IIP2 of the system for homodyne receiver?
Is it necessary anyway? since the RF is converter to the baseband, the only place where IP2 may apear is at the Mixer's feedthrough path (RF to IF).
Thanks in advance

The IP2 is not usually important in heterodyne receivers because 2nd order intermodulation produces tones which are well off the frequency of the desired signal. In the case of homodyne receiver, 2nd order intermodulation will produce a tone at baseband where the signal is converted.
