Help me design a FM PLL demodulator

A phase detector lowpass filter and a volatge controlled oscillator is enough to built a PLL...IC version of PLL is also available

out of existing different methods to detect FM like Foster seely,ratio detector,slope detector.. PLL based methods assumes more importance becoz it is more chraracterized by high linearity....

And what about LM565 or CD4046 ?

Why PLL demodulation is with high linearity? How to get the oscillator whose
V to frequency realtion is very linear? And, what's the disadvantage of PLL
demodulator?

since it involves more components,it may be assummed as a high complex circiut

If we pay more for PLL demodulator, can we get better performance for
demodulation?
