How to design a reciever front end for ssb-sc
The Direct Conversion Receiver will receive an SSB signal.

Read some amateur radio books.
You have not told us what frequencys you want to receive. SSB is mostly used on HF, 1.6MHz-30MHz.
If you want to receive on a single frequncy or a narrow band such as 40 meter amateur band 7.0-7.1MHz you can design a filter for that band.
A single LC circuit may be enough but for a good perforamce in lower bands more filtering will help.
If you want to make a wide coverage receiver then you need to consider how wide you can make your filter without having image reception. That depends on the design of the rest of your receiver (superhet or IQ or direct conversion, intermediate frequency etc).
