HI ALL,
Now I'm designing a 78MHZ power amplifer.
I want to use the MOSFET mrf154 of MA/COM.
1. In the datasheet,
Drain Efficiency
(VDD = 50 V, Pout = 600 W, IDQ = 800 mA, f = 30 MHz)=45%.
But I need Drain Efficiency to be more than 70%. How can I do to reach 70%?
2. And in the datasheet, there is a Gate Threshold Voltage (VDS = 10 V, ID = 100 mA) VGS(th)=1.0-5.0 Vdc, what does VGS(TH) MEAN? If I need the FET work in class C, how can I choose the value of VGS(TH)?
