Antenna for my RF module - HELP
I am in the process of setting my TX and RX modules with microcontroller chip and I have no idea about antenna so do I need to make antenna with precise length, can I use a simple wire or convert the wire into weird shape?
Maverick Max
what frequency is it?
a short wire equal a short monopole........
The performance matbe not good but it only can work.
try inverted-F on your PCB board.
Hello
I am currently testing my RF modules on breadboard at the moment, my both TX and RX operate at 434 MHz
Maverick Max
if only for test the TX RX performance, why don't you thru TX and RX?
or you can design a loop antenna, but if you used the lambda/4 antenna.
the antenna size must larger than your module a lot.
Can I use a simple core wire as an antenna?
Maverick Max
i think you need to see books on mobile antenna
that are smaller than others, and it is suitable for u.
hope helps
Hi Maverickmax,
You can using 434 Mhz RF & Cordless Phone Antenna.

Here are some antennas you can build.
