Hi
I have noticed under the calaibration procedure there is something called isolation, but I have been told that this can just be omitted. Now I have to measure isolation(switch isolation) with a network analyzer, do you have to calibrate it differently?
Thank you

If you are measuring something like an amplifier, you can skip it. If you are measuring something like a filter that has high rejection at some frequencies, you want to do the isolation calibration.
Thanks for the reply
How do you do an isolation calibration?

Hi,
when doing on chip measurements, the two ports may be very close to each other.
the isolation is to eliminate the coupling between the two port.
just place the two ports with the distance the device under test should be measured, and preform the isolation test.
