How does the input impedance of the Spectrum Analyzer affect the measurment result?
It usually does not since most of the time a 10 dB attenuator is switched in for strong signals, thus the return loss is good. With no attenuator the return loss of the mixer may cause ripple if you have a filter or long cable attached to it. Always try to use some attenuation unless you really need a low noise floor.
